Claudia Camacho-Zuñiga is a science teacher focused on research, innovation and transformation of higher education with more than 25 years of experience. She has a PhD in Materials Science from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico and an M. in Science in Chemical Engineering and Physics Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. As an experimental researcher in the Polymer Group of this institution, she began as a data practitioner by establishing structure-property relationships of polymers through data analytics. She is the author of the books: "Experimentar y Medir: Cómo aprender en el mundo real”, “Lecturas introductorias a la termodinámica y su aplicación a procesos ingenieriles” y “Pensamiento Matemático I y 2”. She is a microentrepreneur and founder of Tlamatini, an innovative and inclusive system to develop mathematical reasoning skills in children and teens, that was awarded in 2015 as Best Social Entrepreneurship by the City Council of Toluca. Her experience in Tlamatini and the challenges we face in Latin America have inspired her to disseminate the foundations, ethical implications and potential benefits of Generative Artificial Intelligence.
